Quartz Ridge

Let the corn harvest begin! Loaded Standish at 8:45 due to racing activity you can even catch an earlier lift! Skiing was fast due to a nice layer of fresh surface hoar and a supportive melt-freeze crust. We did a couple laps on the east aspect of Quartz ridge and they were starting to soft up quite nicely at 10am. Things were getting warm at 11:30 so we headed for some NW aspect skiing which stayed cold longer. Generally excellent corn skiing with the crust getting wet earlier but very support when we got back inbounds at 1:45.
