Frisbee Range Early Season

Snowpack was 120 cm deep. 65 cm from top was a 1 - 3 cm thick layer of very crystalline snow. Failure occurred on column on last and hardest hit of stability test 40 cm from top. Column test was conducted on a wind swept NE facing slope.
