Lookout Col

Toured up to Lookout Col today, hoping to find some unaffected snow. Crust on all aspects up to at least 2200m(didn’t go higher) with 15-20cm heavy moist snow underneath. Travel up was decent and did not require ski crampons, travel downhill was terrible breakable crust into heavy wet snow until about 1600m where the crust on anything solar had softened. Creek crossings are starting to get tricky
