- <p>Lots of shooting cracks, sensitive SS wind slabs and natural wind slabs (probably cornice triggered). Slabs were only about 8~10" deep where I observed. Would imanagine that there were some pockets slightly deeper. Would see propogating cracks shooting out 40~80' in front of my tips. Easily managable today, and soft shallow and preictible. Observed quite a bit of snow transport going on throughout the day. </p>

- <p>Saw widespread sensitive shallow soft slab wind slabs through the day. Easily triggered and natural triggered from loading and new cornice fall. Very predictable and right off the ridge lines. Would think these are slightly thicker at higher elevations and possibly stiffer. Would expect them to become stiffer, more stubborn and more connected with the continued winds. The problem should settle out quickly.</p> <p>The corni continue to grow and are getting larger and more sensitive with the new low density snow added to them.</p>
8" or more of new snow that was wind effected and upside down where effected by the wind. Would stop me dead in my tracks on the ridge lines. Cold light powder on the protected slopes. Lots of available snow for transport.
