Big Tree, Little Success

First we made an attempt at High Rigger. Cutblocks at 950 m had next to no snow coverage. So to Big Tree we went. Access was difficult via the Venus Main, we staged 850 m. The road was previously plowed, but now covered in many large wind drifts. Snow was falling heavily at 900 m, about 10 cm by 1 pm. Seemed to be fairly well bonded to the wet snow below. Ski travel at that elevation was still technical due to coverage.
