Tree that Rime

At Pine Pass, it was foggy white-out conditions that limited ski terrain choice. With visibility limited, we chose to ski mellow terrain in the trees where we found soft snow over a solid crust. The soft snow was well-bonded to the crust and showed no signs of instability. On the snow surface we saw rime. In the Alpine, moderate southerly wind where not enough to move any snow.
