Dawn Patrol on Video Peak. We started the ascent from the discovery center at 6:00 and skied the peak at arround noon. About 5 cm of new snow wich made for a fun descent. No Whumpfs or cracks on the way. We dug a pit on a SE slope at 2440m, snow dept was 105 cm. ECT and CT tests gave no results. However, we could see the facet layer at 80cm wich could be a problem after a bigger storm. We skied out the Hospitall Gully #1 wich was thin and steep at spots but mostly good all the way to the skin track at the bottom.
