Quick Observation

About 5 cm sitting on a wind skin was reactive (slugging). Total of about 30cm on a strong, supportive crust.

Snowpack

Observed from probing… No pit Roughly 35cm sitting on a strong crust. 115cm hs. Seems that there are two thick crusts mid-snowpack (sandwich) at least 10cm thick each. Slightly less dense between the crusts. Below the crusts was also less dense than the crusts but there was still reactance to the probe (didn’t seem to “drop”.
