Size 0.5 avalanche , skier triggered, 10cm of storm snow on NW aspect. Additionally there was a few very deep trenches made by sleds (in the second photo) I skied into one and luckily was fine. It was in an area where sleds are not allowed. Sledders please be informed about what areas allow sleds. Skiers please be aware of the hazards that trenches made by sleds can cause.
We triggered a small slab avalanche, 0.5. It was a wind loaded face that slid on a medium-hard bed surface. The avalanche on the left side of the photo was human triggered. The avalanche to the right we believe to be natural, and was on a slightly steeper slope. We saw fracture lines and debris on other similar slopes. All appearing to be about 10 cm crowns. It seems that the slides were the 10cm of snow received over night last night.
