Quick report

Cracking
isolated

This afternoon I took a quick ride/snowboard up to Beta Lake on time off.
We had one collapse at roughly 6,000 feet on a SE very gentle slope.
It was hard to find snow that hadn't been affected by the wind.
We saw one recent small (D1) avalanche on a north aspect.  This almost certainly was a wind slab that had failed within the last 12 hours.
Winds have ravaged this part of the Swan Range.

Had one rumbling collapse.
