Quick report
Lower elevations currently hold 45–60 cm of snow, while mid-elevations (5,500–7,000 ft) see depths averaging 120 cm. At 6,200 feet on northeast aspects, stability tests revealed two moderately sensitive weak layers buried 17 cm and 40 cm down. Both layers appear to be the result of density changes within the new snow pack, with no graupel or faceting identified at these locations. While ridges displayed signs of recent wind, I did not observe wind slabs or transport during the outing.
