Quick report
Toured up West Willow Saturday afternoon. Rain at trailhead, turned to snow about 5500'. Surface hoar from earlier in the week was well intact despite the rain. Above about 6000' there was only a very thin layer of wet snow. Under that thin wet snow snow was faceted and dry. Winds were moderate to strong from SW on ridgeline. Did not see significant wind transport but probably increased after we descended.
