Quick report
Started from the highway at 11:15am. 28°, lightly snowing, cloudy but later in the day some blue sky poking through, light breeze on and off from the north. Ski penetration between 8 - 18 inches. A little bit of wind skin starting at 2300 ft elevation. Probed 75 cm at 2500 ft elevation. Localized collapsing around 2700 ft elevation, possibly related to low coerage on vegetation. Skinned up a little past 2800 ft elevation. Snow depth only 60 cm in the gully but it was some excellent skiing. No red flags. Back at the highway at 2:30pm.
