Quick report
Easy travel today with only a few moments of crossing dirt patches. Low elevation terrain continues to show the signs of a light winter, but once you get above 8,500' it seems to be almost average.
No issues due to warming or old lingering wind slabs. Looks like most solar aspects are starting to shed this recent few inches of snow, with roller balls and pinwheels covering alot of the terrain.
But the places that are smooth were mostly slow powder back to the trailhead. We did find a few nice powder turns above 9k.
Snowpack
Not a very good freeze last night, with damp snow through out most the tour. Only moments of powder in true North facing terrain.
