Quick report
You have to deal with more schwackery to get it, but the ski quality is nice up high with minor avalanche issues. We found isolated and very soft drifts up to a foot deep that produced cracking less than 2’ wide at ridgetop, and our main concern was managing for shallow dry sluffs (4” to 5”) on the storm interface.

Overcast skies and Light snowfall tapered to broken skies midday. Light SW winds with a few moderate gusts.
Snowpack
4” to 5” on a frozen, supportive melt-freeze crust (or settled dry snow on north) at higher elevations. Below treeline, 2” to 3” became moist over a punchy crust into wet snow. Old snow coverage is patchy except on northern aspects.
