Cinder cones NE of the Peaks

Had a glorious cinder cone tour out NE of the San Francisco Peaks. Skied 20-30 deg. slopes without backpacks. Quick and light! Had great views of many slopes in the Inner Basin. Using binoculars, no evidence of avalanches was noted. Did see numerous pillowed, rounded, and rippled slopes in the alpine. We had one collapse in the skin track. Small and isolated. Appeared to happen near or just below the new/old snow interface. Saw a party commit to slopes in Humphreys Cirgue and set a skin track out to the low saddle.
