Variable snowpack depth up to 80cm. Top 20-30cm was loose and non-cohesive snow. Overnight (11/9-11/10) E/W winds created a 3-4cm thick soft slab on some E slopes of about 30-40 degrees between 3500-4200โ. Slab would release from skier weight but did not propagate or entrain snow beyond a few feet below the skis. This layer was only found in specific areas navigating between boulders.
