A warm, overcast day that trended cleared in the afternoon with the sun poking out around 1pm. It was raining at 1700ft in the morning, with temperatures in the mid 30s to around 40F. At the Frostbite SNOTEL temps were 33F around 11am and rose up to 38F by 5pm.

Hard to tell where the rain/snow line was. The start zone to this path was probably on or near the rain/snow line. Seemed like a soft slab that was triggered by the added moisture from warm temps and rain/snow on the snowpack breaking the bonds of a faceted layer near the base of the snowpack.
