Observation: Silver Fork

It looks like a major winter storm will hit this weekend.  As an avalanche forecaster, my most important job is to carefully map the pre-existing snow before the storm hits so I know the pattern distribution of the weak layers that will produce avalanches once we slam a slab down on top of it.
