Red Flags Comment

Rapid warming: Temperatures forecast to hit 49 degrees at 9000 feet today, with SLC hitting 69. Doubtful that lower BCC, LCC and Mill Creek had refreeze, and with many folks hiking from the lower trailheads, caution may be advised when traveling under any potential slide paths, regardless of their overall size. Wet Slab potential is Likely in these lower elevations areas.

Instability Comment

See above for Wet Slab and Wet Loose, especially in the lower elevations.

Multiple Cornice releases over the last few days, and with the sky-rocketing temperatures today, this problem will likely increase in potential.
