We found quite a bit of reactivity in our pits today on solar aspects in upper LCC. Our 6cm crust/facet sandwich is proving to be a persistent problem on terrain that usually doesn't harbor such issues.. Standard operating procedures are out the window.
Students and guides were surprised to see people skinning up Culps and skiing the south face of Superior when we are getting ECTP10s in our pits on similar slopes.
Video shows ECTP10 above the upper crust. The block in front of that one failed below the lower crust at ECTP19. Both Q1.
