Interval Board Cleared: 28 Inches Snow (71 cm) and 3.9 Inches SWE (last cleared 2/11)
Solars had a thin crust up to 9500 feet under a few inches of new snow overnight. Surface snow was moist on anything with a southern tilt by 10 am. East through north aspects remained cold and dry. The recent snow is right side up. Great skiing even with thin crusts below the surface on SE.
Dug at 9600 feet, NE aspect. Only went down 5 ft (1.5m):
- CT15 Q1 down 18 inches (45 cm)
- CT28Q1 down 24 inches (60cm)
- ECTN16 down 18 inches (45cm)
- Right side up snowpack from fist to one finger in the top 30 inches (75 cm) and one finger below that.
No discernable layers in the pit. I suspect the fractures occurred on density/storm breaks.

Mid-elevation AM clouds gave way to broken skies late in the morning above 8500 feet. Fully overcast by noon and upper elevation winds picked up (SW) to sustained moderate for a while.
