Quick report

Found 10-40 cms of storm snow since 10-26 atop moist snow/rain crust. New snow had variable depth due to previous strong south storm wind. New snow was stiffened but had limited energy in this location. Despite below freezing temps thanksgiving rain saturated snow was still moist. No signs of instability

high ceilings with calm wind moved to descending clouds light snow and light south wind.

Snowpack

Found 4-18 inches of new snow since 11/26 depending upon wind redistribution. The snow beneath remained moist up to 3700' from the Thanksgiving warm up. Snow below consisted of rounded polycrystals, rain crusts and facets moving toward rounds.
