Facets are growing with in the snowpack clearly up to about 55cm from the ground.
Total snow depth 90 cm
noticed some light rime on the trees most of the day. about 2pm the sun started to melt it off the tress and it was dropping on the snow surface.

riding we could tell the snow was more dense, had more water content but plenty supportable and getting deeper
