Crystal Ridge

Skied around the Crystal Ridge area today. Witnessed a small remote triggered size 1 above tree line, along with several whumphs and shooting cracks at tree line. Snowpack was about 75cm at tree line, where we dug a pit - about 25cm of new snow sitting on top of 50cm of facets to ground. CT test showed nothing but a crumbly column. Skiing was mediocre at best, but a nice day with little to no wind.
