Warm temps and rain in the morning prior to freezing temps later in the day. We observed an avalanche debris field below Alicibat run but did not see the avalanche take place. There was no fresh snow on top so we felt confident it had happened in the last few days. Snowpack appeared stable, there was a weaker layer at approx 50 cm but no propagation was observed. We felt confident skiing a similar aspect/elevation to the avalanche debris after our pit but did transition our skis when we started observing unstableness in the wet layer during our hand shears. We did not go all the way up to the ridgeline.
