North of Fraser chutes

mostynliam, Saturday 8th February, 2025 10:38PM

There was a crust that was covered with good powder in certain areas, and was wind affected, exposed and quite hard in others making for a variable riding experience especially higher up. No signs of slab avalanches, no whumphing or cracks, but snow was definitely wind affected in certain areas. All in all temperature was amazing, little to no wind all day, and no precipitation. Visibility was excellent, skiing was okay higher up, somewhat crusty but in sheltered areas and in the trees skiing was excellent. Stuck to lower angle slopes and treed areas most of the day so can't speak to much higher than treeline. Dank turns to be found by those who are willing to look.
