at 4200ft I found a 40-50cm snowpack with multiple rain and melt freeze crusts within it. The main layer of concern is a laminated crust that hold facet snow (size 1-2mm) in between and is reactive as a Sudden Planar "Easy" result during compression tests. No surface hoar found and a small 10cm skiff of fresh snow sitting on the melt freeze crust.
