Nice day out around Bryant Lake checking a variety of aspects. Fast clearing in the afternoon allowed for good visibility in the area. 20 25 cm of new low density snow from recent days.
As noted in the other min a quick burst of north winds mid day lead to a rapid formation of a touchy storm slab that was reactive to skier trafic in loaded alpine leeward zones (south east and south). Some cracking and small size 0.5 releases were observed. A good reminder that coconditions can change very rapidly when wind picks up and there is signifiant snow available for transport.
Minimal to no wind effect on north facing slopes with deep powder conditions.....with a lot of rocks underneath! Some small loose dry observed from steep rocky features with no propagation below.

Terrain Ridden
Alpine slopes, Open trees.
Terrain Avoided
Convex slopes.
Snow Conditions
Wind affected, Powder.
Weather Conditions
Windy, Cloudy, Sunny.
