<p>Went for a walk up McKendrick today. Very intense wind from the northwest, that was scouring northwest slopes and undercutting existing cornices. Temperature crust existed to about 1550m, getting thinner with increasing elevation. Signs of loose wet activity on south aspects below this elevation from previous days warming, but everything has refrozen quite solid since then.
No storm slabs at all. It doesn’t seem to have snowed at all in this area over the weekend.</p>
