Loads of whoompfing at outhouse hill

<p>Driving in huuuge temperature. Hangs. Carcross -40. Log cabin -27. Fraser -18. Outhouse hill -10. Loads of whoomfing that was load and broad (actually made me jump out of my skin a few times). Lots of wind affect. Even in wind loaded areas it wasn't much snow. Icy in some parts. The higher alpine looked a sketchy with obvious old avalanche outlines or soon to be? Didn't get close. Decided to try log cabin instead </p>

<p>Obvious wind on road and in sections of remaining loose snow. Very cold wind compared to temperature. </p>

Rapid temperature rise to near zero degrees or wet surface snow.

Whumpfing or drum-like sounds or shooting cracks.
