New conditions every lap
We were skiing laps on Seymour to Brockton and skiing out some of the terrain west of the up trial. Every lap seemed to have new conditions and we started to test out some different slopes to see what would slide. See Avi report for what we got to slide.
Snow conditions were: Heavy, Deep powder. Weather conditions were: Stormy, Windy. We rode: Mellow slopes, Dense trees. We avoided: Alpine slopes, Steep slopes, Convex slopes. Riding quality was good.
Avalache Conditions: Rapid temperature rise to near zero degrees or wet surface snow. 30cm + of new snow, or significant drifitng, or rain in the last 48 hours. Slab avalanches today or yesterday.
We jumped on an SW aspect of this bump and after about two jumps the crack propagated 5M across the slope to trigger on the S/SE aspect. We guessed the crown was about 30cms thick.
