<p>Interesting conditions on Morfee Mountain. 75cms of total snowpack and two prominent rain crust/melt freeze layers that are reactive. Facets exist underneath both of these rain/melt freeze crusts and are reactive to hard triggers- CTH 24 down 25cm on Facets/Surface Hoar (size 3mm) SP CTH 28 down 55cm on Facets/Surface Hoar (size 6.0 mm) SP These two layers exist everywhere throughout the North Eastern North Rockies within the upper metre of the snowpack and have also provided similar results. HST 25cm</p>
