Hollyburn wet & heavy

25+ cm of fresh snow on Hollyburn. Very cohesive; snow would crack into chunks as we skinned uphill. A couple slabby pieces of snow slid below our skin track (pictured). Triggered a sz 0 slab avalanche on a tiny steep test slope/roll, below treeline around 1200m. Slab was about 15 cm thick. No picture. We got soaked - slush falling at the parking lot, dense snow at 1300m.
