Anything but East

We got out for a ski tour above Azouzetta Lake today. The skiing was better than expected with 4cm of new snow over the older moist surface and more falling throughout our day. We dug a couple of test snow pits near the tree line but did not find any weak layers. On the ski down we got a small loose wet avalanche to fail on a steep roll that just entrained the new snow.
