5150 ft elevation. quick snow pit on 35 degree slope. seemed stable. 12cm new snow on top of crust. 25cm more compact, 1 finger. 45 cm more compact then granules to ground. little to no cornice. area is tucked sheltered. total depth to ground ~150cm did not do compression test. short run, skied slope near pit with no issues.
