Quick report

Above about 5500 feet a somewhat skiable thinner surface crust over cold 4F snow, hand pits gave RP shears at about 6 and 12 inches down that did not seem overly alarming, we skied the steep slope to the ridge to the lookers left above the main bowl, no outward signs of instability. Some very small earlier loose wet avalanche debris was seen on the steep rocky ESE facing slope at about 5200-5700 feet that one passes on the way up and down. Below about 5500 feet mostly a thicker breakable surface crust over wet snow, or consolidated hard wet snow under trees.
