Quick report

The windslab problem at tree line seems specific to steep exposed terrain. The 11/23 crust is widespread at tree line and in the alpine, and the recent colder weather has produced faceting in the storm snow that sits over the crust. I think the current snowpack structure is a concern. There seems to be uncertainty about the amplitude and freezing levels associated with the mid week low pressure system, so no need for fear-casting right now, let's wait and see.
