Quick report
We observed two large avalanches. The avalanche from the North Slope of Chair Peak broke at the ground and there is hangfire in the start zone and significant large debris in the path. We decided not to ski that slope. An 85cm profile at 4,970’ on a N aspect of Chair Peak had 3cm of PP, a 20cm crust, then moist snow down without reaching dry snow. HS was 170cm. Cloud cover went from broken in the AM to few in the PM.
