D 2.5 R 4 avalanche triggered unintentionally by skier in another party. We witnessed from further down the ridge. Skier did a small ski cut on 35-40 degree slope. He set off some sluff. He then started skiing down, took two tight turns, and triggered the avalanche. It propagated in both directions and around terrain features. Skier was able to stay on his feet and ski past the terminus. The two other skiers in his party were at the ridge and one by one descended the avy path.
