Quick report
As we approached Cascade Pass, the wind noticeably picked up and we observed a lot of wind-transported snow in the morning deposited onto the slopes leading up to the pass and the terrain below. There were small sluffs releasing as the wind continued to transport snow onto steep terrain. It wasn't forming any cohesive slabs. We along with other parties noted that we observed a lot of blowing snow on Cascade pass and nearby peaks, but didn't observe blowing snow in other locations. By the afternoon, we still observed some wind transported snow, but the snow had become wet in the sun and we started to observe some rollerballs in rocky terrain. On our exit, we observed two larger avalanches across the valley. We weren't able to see the origin, but did see snow flowing over the cliffs.

Witnessed two separate avalanches over the cliffs under Johannesburg as we were coming down from Cascade Pass. The first one lasted ~10 minutes and the second one happened during the same timeframe.
