Quick report

We found 2-3 feet of recent storm snow during our tour. Ski penetration in the skin track was 6-15 inches, with obviously firmer snow where it had been affected by snow. We found isolated wind slab instabilities, no more than 4-8 inches thick without much propogation.

We saw two areas of natural avalanche activity from Friday/Saturday snowfall. 1. 500 ft+ propagating soft storm slab, less than a foot crown. Couldn't see the full extent due to weaving and out of trees. Seemed to sluff the runout below without an obvious debris pile. 2. Several small to medium soft slab avalanches on Little Alaska.
