Decided to investigate some E facing terrain in and around Reuter Bowl today and found a very shallow snowpack. True east facing slopes held only 2-6" of snow, even above 8500' and ENE terrain held up to 20". Heavy snow at 4pm, but less than 4" of new snow total at that time. No signs of instability observed.
