Quick report
Our weekend was notably warm in the range, temps stayed well above freezing in all elevations traveled to throughout daylight with minimal freezing overnight. Saturday was marked by being quite sunny with a transition to cloudier skies today ahead of the storm system moving in. Surface hoar was noted throughout the area on Saturday while students noticed a lack of surface hoar present today. North facing and protected upper elevation terrain still harbored some cold faceted snow, while all other elevations and aspects showed considerable signs of warming. Large grain facets are still noted in the mid and lower snowpack. Ridge top winds slowly ramped up throughout the day, winds started the morning out of the NE and rotated to the SSW by midday. Variable ski conditions exist widespread due to lack of snow and warm temperatures. We will continue to monitor the snowpack as we move into a more active cycle.

Warming snow observed throughout the tour, previous widespread surface hoar was no longer present, facets and facet crust combos exist in the mid and lower snowpack.
