Quick report
Reporting as part of Lake Tahoe Community College Avy 2 course. Parked at the west end of Grass Lake and skinned east to NE ridge of Powderhouse peak, staying skier's left of the drainage. Gained near summit with three pits along the way, all NE aspects. Heinous rain crust up to around 8500 ft with powder above - good cover up high. Boulder gardens down low are spotty. Dodged the forecasted high winds Pit results summarized CT22 simultaneously on 18 Dec and Jan 2 PWLs, 40 and 50 cm from base respectively ECT25 again simultaneously on same layers PST 75/100 to end on Jan 2
