We observed 4" of new unconsolidated snow on top of the most recent melt freeze from 2/10 at lower elevations- around 5300-5600'. Further up on our tour we found 6-10" of progressively more dense snow on top of the same crust. At this elevation of ~5900', easterly aspects, we got moderate test results on compression tests down to this crust. Small facets were found around this crust and we also got some propagating test results on our ECT.
