Quick report

Nice day to be out. Cool in the shade, warm but not scorching in the sun. Skied ENE off Lappi point back towards Lappi lake. Anything with a northerly tilt was still dry and cold at 3pm. Steeper true East had a crust from previous days but didn't seem to be warming as quick today. Light breeze out of the NW. Lots of roller balls and wet loose in steep/extreme terrain. Also lots of rock/ice/snow fall in the south facing cliffs around the wilderness boundary. Dug 1 pit: 7500' ENE HS - 190cm Ski Pen - 25cm Boot Pen - 40cm ECTN 13 - down 30cm on thin density change Collapse at 30cm was planar but didn't propagate. But I was able to pull the rest of the top 30cm off in one piece with little effort after the test was completed. Not sure what created this density change but left me wondering how this layer will react if the slab above consolidates
