Brew Lake

Sympathetically triggered at least two very small slabs (3 m x 3 m) a few meters off the skin track on the other side of a small snow-covered creek, and saw several similar natural ones from the last 24 hrs. None of them seemed to propagate to the full slope. The slabs consisted of recent storm snow, possibly running on the rain crust below. Around 40 cm of new snow fell around Brew Lake in the last 24 hrs, and obviously more in wind-loaded areas. There were strong south/easterly winds on ridgelines in the area that were quickly redistributing snow.
