<p>Shames backcountry to Cats area. Skied treeline, and below treeline. 700-1250m elevation. W and E aspects. Approx. -5 to -2. Wind Light to calm from NE. Light snow all day, accumulation <5cm. Snow profile at 1165m elevation on W aspect. Snowpack 220cm. Compression test hard sudden collapse down 95cm in facets on December 15th crust. No avalanches observed, visibility limited.</p>
