Smashed potatoes

Great day out riding in the Hasler. Alpine conditions were unfavourable with no visibility and strong SW winds. In wind sheltered areas we found awesome powder, although a little moist and heavy due to mild temps. Avalanches obs were limited due to poor visibility. NE aspects were actively getting loaded., with some avalanche activity. We have some small wind slabs release on Lee features with convex rolls on test slopes Avg Hs was 215-255cm the December crust was down 115cm. Surface snow was becoming heavier thought the day.
